1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Lane platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Lane provides a cloud-based management platform designed for bowling alleys. The Service includes tools for lane management, online booking, USBC-compliant scoring, league and tournament scheduling, food & beverage operations, cosmic event management, payments, marketing, and analytics.
3. Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. Pricing & Fees
Lane is free to the bowling alley owner. The platform is funded by a guest booking fee applied to online lane reservations. Walk-in and phone bookings incur no platform fee. All lane and F&B revenue belongs to you.
5. Payment Processing
We use third-party payment processors (Stripe, Square) to handle transactions. By using the Service, you agree to the terms and policies of the applicable payment processor. We are not responsible for payment processor errors or downtime.
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of your data. We process your data only as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for obtaining consent from your customers for data collection and processing through the Service.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to infringe on others' rights, to transmit harmful code, to attempt unauthorized access, or to interfere with the Service's operation.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied. In no event shall Lane be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
